Word Vomit part idontcarebecausenoonereallykeepscount

I never really understood people who got upset over being “under appreciated”. I got the need for some form of recognition for hard work but “UNDER appreciated”? As if the thank you you get ISN’T enough? How much more arrogant can you get?

But now I understand. I don’t feel as though anyone in inferior to me. It’s just that empty feeling you get when you put in so much effort and time and people fail to recognize that. After time the kicks build up and honestly, I don’t want to do anything anymore. What for? It’s lost it’s value to me. What hurts more is that in the back of your mind you know that your absence wouldn’t make that much of a difference anyway. That they’ll still go on getting better without you. That’s just degrading.

I know I give up too easily, but I don’t see why anyone else would bother going on. I wouldn’t have made that much of a difference anyway. Right?

Right.
